Calling all Central Florida Emerging Women Leaders! Local ATHENA programs are dedicated to understanding what mentees need today in order to become leaders for the next generation. Not only will ATHENA NextGen provide a toolkit for developing emerging leaders, it will also provide a 360 degree look at how to shape business mentoring in our community.
About ATHENA NextGen:
The Annual ATHENA NextGen Thought Leadership Series kicks off in May of each year. It’s designed as a collaborative forum where participants will enhance their professional development skills through a series of eight sessions about mentoring and leadership strategies, all tailored to the next generation of women leaders. Each month the discussion topics are facilitated by prominent women leaders in Orlando, with the conversation revolving around one of ATHENA’s eight leadership principles:
1. Live Authentically
2. Learn Constantly
3. Advocate Fiercely
4. Act Courageously
5. Foster Collaboration
6. Build Relationships
7. Give Back
ATHENA NextGen offers participants the opportunity to take a deeper dive and learn from women who have made significant contributions to their professions and the business community. Imagine receiving pearls of wisdom from dynamic business leaders such as Sandy Hostetter, Diana Bolivar, Shelley Lauten and Annetta Wilson, in an interactive “Master’s Class” setting.
How to Apply:
Emerging women leaders who are ready to take the next step and embrace an open dialogue about the future of women’s leadership should consider applying. The next available series will run from May to December, 2019.
Due to the collaborative nature of these sessions, ATHENA NextGen has a limited number of seats available. The cost for the entire program is $550 and includes full registration, educational materials, continental breakfast, two networking social events, and a signed copy of Becoming ATHENA: Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership by Martha Mertz, Founder of ATHENA International. We have a few seats available for non-profit organizations at a discounted rate.
